Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering

Job Responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical components related to centrifugal pumps and pump assemblies.
• Prepare 2D drawings and 3D models using CAD software (AutoCAD / SolidWorks / similar tools).
• Create detailed manufacturing drawings, BOM (Bill of Materials), and technical documentation.
• Work closely with the production and quality teams to ensure design feasibility and manufacturing efficiency.
• Review and modify existing designs to improve performance, reliability, and cost efficiency.
• Perform design calculations, tolerance analysis, and material selection.
• Support troubleshooting and technical problem-solving related to pump designs.
• Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for technical specifications if required.

Required Skills

• Knowledge of mechanical design principles.
• Experience with CAD software (AutoCAD / SolidWorks / Creo).
• Understanding of centrifugal pump components and working principles (preferred).
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and engineering specifications.
• Good problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Candidate

• 3–5 years of experience in mechanical design.
• Experience in pump manufacturing or the rotating equipment industry will be an added advantage.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and materials.
