Job Description

Job Summary

The Business Development Manager – Head will be responsible for driving revenue

growth, expanding market presence, and developing strategic partnerships for Swastik

Machine Tools. The role involves identifying new business opportunities, managing key

customer relationships, leading the sales team, and strengthening the company’s presence in

domestic and international markets within the machine tools and industrial manufacturing

sector.

Key Responsibilities

1) Business Growth & Strategy

Develop and execute business development strategies to achieve revenue targets.

Identify new markets, industries, and customer segments for machine tools and

related solutions.

Conduct market research to understand industry trends, competitors, and customer

needs.

2) Sales & Client Acquisition

Lead customer acquisition efforts across OEMs, manufacturing companies, and

industrial clients.

Manage key accounts and maintain long-term relationships with major clients.

Negotiate contracts, pricing, and commercial terms with customers.

3) Market Expansion

Explore opportunities in domestic and export markets.

Build distribution networks, channel partners, and dealer networks.

Represent the company in trade shows, exhibitions, and industry events.

4) Team Leadership

Lead and mentor the sales and marketing team.

Set sales targets, monitor performance, and implement improvement strategies.

Coordinate with production, engineering, and finance teams.

5) Strategic Partnerships

Develop alliances with distributors, vendors, and industry partners.

Identify collaboration opportunities for technology, manufacturing, or market

expansion.

6) Reporting & Performance Monitoring

Track sales performance, pipeline, and forecasts.

Prepare monthly and quarterly reports for senior management.

Ensure CRM and customer data management.


Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering / Business Administration /

Marketing

MBA in Marketing or Sales (Preferred)


Experience:

8–15 years of experience in machine tools, industrial equipment, manufacturing,

or engineering sales

Proven track record in B2B sales and business development
