Job Description


Key Responsibilities

1. Business Development

  • Identify new business opportunities in manufacturing, engineering, fabrication, and industrial sectors.
  • Generate leads and convert them into sales for machine tools and industrial equipment.
  • Develop relationships with OEMs, dealers, and industrial clients.

2. Sales & Client Acquisition

  • Meet with potential customers, including factories, workshops, and fabrication units.
  • Present product solutions, including compressors, workshop machinery, and fabrication machines.
  • Prepare quotations, proposals, and negotiate commercial terms.

3. Market Expansion

  • Explore new markets in Maharashtra and nearby industrial zones.
  • Conduct competitor and market analysis to identify growth opportunities.
  • Support company participation in industrial exhibitions and trade shows.

4. Customer Relationship Management

  • Maintain strong relationships with existing customers.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction through coordination with service and technical teams.
  • Manage repeat orders and AMC/service contracts.

5. Reporting & Strategy

  • Maintain sales pipeline and lead tracking in CRM.
  • Prepare weekly/monthly sales reports.
  • Achieve assigned sales targets and revenue goals.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / Business / Marketing / Mechanical (preferred).
  • 2–5 years of experience in industrial sales/machine tools/capital equipment.
  • Strong knowledge of the manufacturing or engineering industry.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to travel to industrial areas and client locations.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience in selling machine tools, compressors, fabrication machines, or workshop equipment.
  • Knowledge of industries like automobile, fabrication, engineering workshops, tool rooms.
